In New York City, a great pride equates from owning a landmark building or living in one of the city’s historic districts. Though, along with such ownership arise unique challenges involving repair and restoration, Paper Plane Architecture, PLLC is very familiar with the sometimes challenging landmark requirements of NYC which is controlled entirely by the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) that rules over these protected structures often with an iron hand. Paper Plane Architecture, PLLC is in the early stages of obtaining a new Certificate of Occupancy for this building and converting it from a single room occupancy into a Five Family apartment building. We are very excited about this project and cannot wait to see it complete.
