A strong identity for a neighborhood gathering place.

Paper Plane Architecture reimagined the 3,000-square-foot restaurant to create a memorable guest experience while preserving the warmth and familiarity of a neighborhood destination. The design uses a restrained palette of deep blue, turquoise, warm wood, white textured surfaces, artwork, and integrated lighting to establish a cohesive identity from the street through the dining room.

01 — DESIGN APPROACH

Character, function and atmosphere.

A prominent bar anchors the interior and creates a natural focal point within the long, compact floor plate. Perimeter banquettes and flexible table seating maximize dining capacity while maintaining comfortable circulation and a sense of openness.

Existing beams, soffits and changes in ceiling height are incorporated into the composition rather than concealed. Integrated lighting helps unify these conditions while highlighting the bar, artwork and textured display wall.
