Project Overview

A church shaped around gathering.

Gospel of the Kingdom is a new 10,000-square-foot house of worship in Kissimmee, Florida. The project brings together a 300-seat sanctuary, a 100-seat fellowship hall, commercial kitchen, offices, classrooms and supporting spaces within a compact, highly organized plan.

The architectural concept establishes a recognizable civic presence while keeping the building welcoming and accessible. A tall glazed entrance volume, framed by white masonry and darker sanctuary walls, creates a clear identity from the street and a strong transition from arrival to worship.

Worship Space

300 seats. Clear sightlines. A strong central focus.

The sanctuary is designed as the spiritual center of the project. Its tall volume, expressed structure and carefully controlled openings create a room that is direct, calm and flexible for contemporary worship.

Seating is organized around a clear central aisle and platform, supporting both weekly services and larger congregational gatherings.

“More than a sanctuary, the building is planned as a place for worship, fellowship, administration and everyday community life.”

Program

One building, multiple ways to gather.

Design Approach

Identity without excess.

The exterior is composed as a series of simple, legible volumes. The white entry gateway announces the public entrance, while the taller, darker sanctuary mass gives the church presence and scale. Large areas of glazing bring daylight into the lobby and create a visible connection between the congregation and the site.

The result is contemporary without becoming overly formal: a practical church building with a strong public face and a plan organized around how the congregation actually gathers.
