Project Overview

Brand, retail and operations in one space.

Kaya Bliss was conceived as more than a storefront. The project translates a distinctive visual identity into a functioning dispensary with clear customer movement, point-of-sale areas, display zones, staff oversight and back-of-house support.

The completed environment combines strong blue fields, warm wood slatwork, gold-toned accents, custom millwork and a large-scale mural to create a recognizable customer experience without losing the discipline required of a regulated retail program.

The Arrival Experience

A clear identity from the first step inside.

The reception zone establishes the project language immediately: a deep cobalt backdrop, custom dimensional signage, vertical wood slats and a bright, restrained floor palette. Together, these elements frame a controlled and welcoming threshold before customers move deeper into the sales floor.

Design Language

The architecture supports the brand instead of competing with it.

The project uses a limited set of architectural moves repeatedly and deliberately: bold color blocking, natural wood, crisp white counters, black ceilings and gold-framed fixtures. That restraint allows the mural and merchandise to become the visual focus while maintaining a coherent space from entrance to point of sale.

The result is a retail environment with enough personality to feel destination-driven, but enough order to remain intuitive for customers and staff.

Commercial Experience

From customer-facing space to everyday operation.

A successful dispensary needs more than an attractive sales floor. The planning must support controlled circulation, visibility, product display, transactions, employee functions and the practical requirements of a regulated retail environment.

Kaya Bliss demonstrates Paper Plane Architecture's ability to pair branded commercial design with the detailed planning needed to turn a concept into a completed, operational space.
