The renovation reworked the restaurant from the ground up — improving entry and accessibility, modernizing the bar, and giving the interior a stronger material identity. The result is a more welcoming, functional and memorable dining environment without losing the intimacy of the original space.
The narrow room becomes an advantage: a layered sequence of seating, textured walls, warm light and custom elements draws guests through the space toward the bar.
The bar was treated as the visual and operational heart of the restaurant. Tile, stone, wood, integrated shelving and greenery give the compact service area depth while maintaining an efficient working footprint.
Instead of relying on decoration alone, the renovation creates character through material relationships: textured white masonry, green tile, natural wood, woven ceiling elements, planting and carefully integrated lighting.
The design work began with performance: the ground floor was lowered to improve accessibility and create a more seamless entrance condition. Structural renovation and circulation improvements set the framework for the finished interior.
