Paper Plane Architecture was engaged to renovate the school’s existing non-accessible restrooms and improve ADA accessibility, functionality, durability, circulation, and overall comfort.
The proposed renovation replaces a dated and inaccessible environment with a cleaner visual language, improved fixture layouts, durable finishes, and lighting designed to make the space feel open and safe.
Simple geometric color accents introduce energy and wayfinding without compromising durability. Black partitions and fixtures create contrast against a bright, neutral material palette.
The work studies multiple restroom locations within the existing building, coordinating accessibility, fixture counts, circulation, and phased implementation while minimizing disruption to adjacent school spaces.
